Our Beliefs:

that which we hold to be true, according to the Scriptures.

God has provided an infinite resource in His Word. From what we are learning, this is what we believe.

Here at Fellowship, we are passionate about developing spiritually and relationally healthy disciples of Jesus. A relationship with Jesus begins with understanding the central message of the Bible: Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father but by him (John 14:6). Our church exists to proclaim that simple but life-changing message in our community and across the globe.

We believe that the gospel is the centerpiece of faith and life. The gospel is the good news about what God has done through Jesus. God has not only created the world, but since all humanity has fallen out of right relationship with Him, He has brought salvation to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus, His Son, and He will one day make all things right for all time.  The Bible considers this message about what Jesus has done as the foundation for Christian faith (see 1 Corinthians 15:1-5), and so do we. The following basic doctrines represent what we believe to be core elements of biblical teaching.

Scripture

God wrote the Bible through men and without error. (2 Peter 1:21)

Trinity

God exists eternally in a Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

Jesus

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He became a man, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, was buried, rose bodily from the grave, and ascended into Heaven to redeem sinful people. (Hebrews 1:3)

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the supernatural agent who applies salvation to sinful people, regenerating, indwelling, sanctifying, and sealing them until the day of Christ’s return. (John 15:26)

Humanity

God creates all people in His image as uniquely male and female. (Genesis 1:27)

Salvation

All people are sinful and in need of salvation. Salvation is a gift of God, given by grace alone, and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8)

The Church

The church is both universal and local. (Acts 2:42)

Restoration

Jesus will return to earth to judge all people and to rule and reign with his saints forever. (Matthew 25:46)
