Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience. We want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Fellowship will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience encouraging music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and "at home"! Here are a few answers to your questions about what you can expect on your first visit.

FAQ

What should I expect?

The building our church family gathers in each week is located on the corner of 15th Street and Price Road on the West side of Linton. Upon entering the building at any one of our entrances, a greeter is available to assist you in knowing where to go next. Our 9:30 am Sunday School hour is designed to allow a time of Bible study and connection in a smaller setting with other people in your stage of life - this is the best way to get to know others in our church family. Our 10:30 am Worship Service is where you will enjoy encouraging music lead by individuals in our church family. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message. Each service is about an hour in length.

Where do I take my kids?

Starting with children who are new-born through two years old, our safe, clean nursery is available to help care for your child. Our nursery is conveniently located in the lower level of our church, and available for every service.

Children ages three and up have a great time learning basic bible stories in our 9:30 Sunday School hour, while those who attend our 10:30 am Worship Hour enjoy a special "Junior Church" service planned just for them. The classes each child attends during this time is located in the lower level of the building. Following the service, parents may pick their child up in the same room they dropped them off.

Are guests expected to participate in the offering?

No. We don't invite you to Fellowship for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

What should I wear?

There is not a dress code at Fellowship Baptist Church for members or guests. In fact, you will find a variety of outfits, from traditional to casual, in any given service. Our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Fellowship!
